Vertical platform lifts (VPL) are the most popular alternative to unsightly ramps and, in some cases, to low rise elevators. These lifts overcome architectural barriers with cost and space efficiency as they lift a person just a few inches to heights of up to 14 feet.

The popular PL-S model can be easily customized to blend with surrounding interiors and exteriors. We can install the lift in a hoistway that blends with surroundings, or completely concealed (hoistway by others). Porch-Lift® Toe Guard Model (TG)
The lift with Toe Guard protection meets codes without a hoistway.

This freestanding model provides access to your building with minimal construction, as no hoistway is needed for ADA compliance. Stationary lower landing walls and gate shield the underside of the platform as the platform rises in a telescoping movement.

The WOV355 is a vertical platform lift that looks like an elevator. This model has a 1:2 roped hydraulic drive and full height interior platform walls. A suspended style ceiling with florescent lighting is also provided to complete the enclosure. Similar to our other vertical models, the control panel buttons on the WOV 355 require constant pressure for the lift to raise and lower.

The portable vertical platform lift can be an ideal solution for temporary usage with stages or platforms. On some stages, a permanent installation would obstruct other functions when the stage is not in use. A variance may be required.
The portable vertical platform lift is equipped with wheels and a jack to raise the unit to move it. The unit can be fitted with optional, externally adjustable limits, to make set up easier. A typical application is a school stage on the side of a gymnasium. This situation is found in many older school buildings.
